Eastbourne Pier

A beautiful Victorian Pier located in Eastbourne, East Sussex, originally opened in 1870 and designed by Eugenius Birch. The pier is 300 metres in length and is a much-loved landmark in the South East; it is popular all year round and is an especially good viewing platform for Eastbourne’s yearly air show, Airbourne.
Eastbourne Pier is well worth a visit if you find yourself in the South East and is a perfect stop during days out at the beach. The pier has something for everyone, including an arcade, ice cream stands and a tearoom; you will also find a variety of shops, for example, gift shops, clothes shops, and glassware. And if you are looking for a night out, you may be surprised to find a nightclub towards the end of the pier.
The pier is free to enter and you will immediately be greeted with ice cream and refreshment shops; just over the road, you will find a Harry Ramsdens, as no trip to the beach is complete without Fish and Chips.
Parking
You are able to park along the seafront; use the postcode BN21 3EL to get you to the pier. It is a pay and display parking area and you can use the machines to get a ticket. You can also pay by phone, using the RingGo app; the location code for parking is 17049. Parking is chargeable everyday between the hours of 08:00 – 18:00.
