Located in Staffordshire is the UK’s largest theme park, Alton Towers. Covering an extraordinary 900 acres and home to some of the best roller coasters in the world, including The Smiler. With over 40 attractions, there is something for everyone; for the thrill seekers, you certainly won’t be bored with a large number exhilirating rides, including: Oblivion, Galactica, and the Wicker Man. And there’s plenty of family friendly rides to keep the kids entertained too.

Alton Towers is home to CBeebies Land and is a true children’s paradise; you will find plenty of rides based on their TV favourites, including Peter Rabbit, the Octonauts and In The Night Garden. And for the bigger kids, there are numerous exciting attractions all over the park to keep you busy all day. Be sure to check opening/closing times, as these do change throughout the year. Parking

The postcode for Alton Towers is ST10 4DB and the cost of parking is £6 for the whole day. You can now pay for parking via the website here: Parking. From the car park, you can either take the monorail directly to the entrance, or you can walk. The monorail takes around 5-minutes from the car park, however, this won’t include queue time. If you choose to walk, this will take around 15-minutes.
